Thursday, 12/12 at 7pm at Congregation Beth Israel (3901 Shoal Creek Blvd.)

Performers (8th grade company members) should arrive at 5:30 PM (Students will be fed dinner before the performance)

Students should arrive with full stage make up and hair done, they will not have access to a dressing room or make room.  Students should also come wearing a zip up hoodie or jacket over their costume.  

Tickets to this performance are $35 and include dinner.  If you are attending the event and your performer is planning on staying for the performance with you, they do not need a ticket.  

Costume:

• Green dress (provided by Lamar)

• Skin toned tights

• Skin toned jazz shoes

• Hair in neat low ponytail

• Full stage make up

Middle School Dance Department across AISD are participating in this event to showcase all of the amazing programs we offer. The evening will consist of all different types of dance including jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, partner dances, and more. We encourage all families to attend this free event and stay for the entirety of the show. Although this event is free you will need to order tickets.

12pm Students will leave for the PAC. Students should bring a lunch on this day!!

2pm Meeting with all dancers and directors in the Main House

2-6pm Stretch and run through of show

4:30-5:30pm Dinner ( pizza will be provided )

6:30pm Pre show Meeting

7pm Show starts

PLEASE come to school on Wednesday, 12/4 wearing your Lamar Dance Company shirt and black leggings.

Lamar Dance Company will perform 4th in ACT1. Performers must be picked up by their adults after the show.

PLEASE return the costume pieces to Mrs.Luna as a check out procedure.

Student call time is 11 AM!!

Dress Rehearsal at the AISD PAC

Dance students performing in ACT I will take the bus from Lamar to the AISD PAC at 12:00 pm for a Tech/Dress Rehearsal prior to the show.  Students who have B, C, and D lunch on an A-Day will need to bring lunch and eat at the PAC upon arrival.Lamar Fine Arts Showcase dress Rehearsal at the AISD PAC Theater

3:00 Students arrive in costume with hair and make up done.  Students should meet Ms. Wood at the front entrance off of Yates Ave.  This event is free!!

3:00-3:20 Stretch and run spacing

3:30-3:40 Performance

Students may leave after they perform. 

Mandatory Disney Parent and Student Meeting: Monday 10/7 from 6:30-7:30

Company will be performing "This is Halloween," at the AISD Day of Dance event on Saturday 10/5 at the AISD PAC.  The performance will be at 11AM,.

Student arrive at the PAC at 10:30 and report to the main lobby.  Students should arrive in costume with their hair and makeup done.  This event is free!

11-11:15 Performance (students can leave after they perform)

Pep Rally schedule is in BLEND!! This is an all day event.

Bring all personal costume items to school on Monday 9/30 for dress rehearsal. If you would like to leave your personal costume items in the dance building, please bring them in a labeled bag. 

Students arrive in their dress out clothes to early morning rehearsal, bring their pep rally costumes with them.  Students will change into their costumes during class and follow the pep rally schedule.

The master classes are open to and 2024-2025 Lamar student. Students who would like to audition for a higher level dance class for the 2024-2025 school year and use the master class(es) as their audition. Register here .

We’ll celebrate the end of the year with ALL students who take Dance as PE.

Come to Dance building after school, cookies ( 1 cookie/student) will be served.
